Final Minutes

Published: January 10th, 2016

We have reached the near end of our 48-hour hackathon. Our website is up and we will be presenting in a few hours. Our development team has worked really hard and lost several hours of sleep, but we have reached our goal of launching our project. We hope the many other teams, participants, judges, and families who came to watch our presentation enjoys.

We look forward to watching the many other presentations and seeing the diversity and demonstration of skills that we have learned this week.

Yours truly,

HomeBlock (Team 6)

Second Day at Hackathon!

Published: January 9th, 2016

On the second day of the We Connect the Dots' International Back-to-School Hackathon in Brooklyn, New York, a 48-hour coding competition, our company HomeBlock proceeding in creating the website for Project HomeBlock and the several social media accounts run by our company. The day consisted of bridge building, survival challenges, and a very intense final stretch in finalizing the projects and presentations of the several teams competing in the hackathon. No matter what team wins, this was a truly fulfilling experience and everyone will walk out of the hackathon with much more knowledge about coding and teamwork.

Good luck to all teams!

Yours truly,

HomeBlock (Team 6)
